In short
We demolish warehouses, rural buildings and concrete structures in Ronda and the Málaga side of the Serranía by machine, and remove the rubble sorted for authorised facilities. Ronda's Conjunto Histórico is protected, so a demolition there needs a licence and, where applicable, heritage authorisation. Mountain roads and distances shape how machines and rubble move, so logistics are planned before dates are set.
Ronda and the Serranía: the setting
Ronda is the capital of the Serranía de Ronda, an administrative comarca of 22 municipalities. The town sits on a mountain plateau over 700 m above sea level, split in two by El Tajo, a gorge over 100 m deep carved by the Guadalevín river. Its old quarter, La Ciudad, sits alongside the San Francisco and El Mercadillo quarters.
Industrial demolition here is therefore a matter of the outskirts and the rural plots of the comarca: workshops, storage halls, agricultural buildings and the concrete around them. They are handled under our warehouse and industrial demolition service.
The historic town: licence first
The extension of Ronda's Conjunto Histórico was declared a Bien de Interés Cultural by Decree 199/2001. In a protected historic ensemble a demolition needs a licence and, where applicable, authorisation from Patrimonio; confirm it with the ayuntamiento before anything is planned.
Once the documentation is in place, the method in a historic street is usually manual or combined: light machines, controlled dismantling and careful protection of adjoining buildings. Heavy attachments and large excavators belong on open plots outside the centre.
Plots near slopes and edges
The landscape that makes Ronda famous also sets limits for demolition. On plots close to a slope or an edge, the técnico assesses the ground before any machine is placed, and decides how close it may work and which structures must stay to hold the ground.
Our machine demolition adapts to those limits: the machine stands on firm ground, structures are pulled away from the edge rather than pushed towards it, and debris is kept on the plot. Where the técnico requires it, the last part is done by hand.
Rural plots next to woodland: fire-prevention duties
Many outbuildings around Ronda stand among holm oaks and scrub. In Andalusia, land within 400 m of forest areas falls inside the Zona de Influencia Forestal, which carries fire-prevention duties under Ley 5/1999, so a summer demolition on such a plot is organised with that in mind.
- Timber, plastics and plant debris are taken off the plot as soon as they are sorted, not stockpiled.
- Cutting with grinders or torches is planned with the surrounding ground cleared first.
- When the job ends, the remains are removed and the plot is left clean.
Clearing vegetation beyond the demolition area is not part of the standard scope; ask us if you need it.
Logistics in mountain country
The Serranía is a mountain region dotted with white villages, straddling Málaga and Cádiz, and its roads are winding. That affects three things:
- Machines: the size of excavator is chosen as much for the access road as for the building.
- Rubble: routes to authorised facilities are planned for the lorry size, and loads always travel sorted by fraction.
- Crushing: where there is a lot of clean concrete and a use for the aggregate on site, crushing it there can reduce transport.
Our concrete demolition separates the steel so that the concrete stays clean enough for either option.
Rubble, receipts and the next step
Rubble leaves through our rubble removal and skips, each load going to an authorised facility with a delivery receipt for your técnico. Older rural buildings may have fibre-cement roofs; that removal is carried out first by a RERA-registered company working as our subcontractor.
You can contact us in English and manage the work remotely with photo updates. For houses and other buildings in the town, see Demoliciones Málaga in Ronda.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work in the villages of the Serranía de Ronda?
Yes, on the Málaga side of the comarca and anywhere else in the province of Málaga.
Can you demolish a building in Ronda's old quarter?
Only after the licence and, where applicable, heritage authorisation have been obtained. The method then relies on light machines and hand work.
My plot is close to a slope. Can a machine work there?
Only where your técnico has assessed the ground and set the limits; the machine always stands on firm ground.
Is it worth crushing concrete on a remote plot?
It can be, if there is enough clean concrete and a use for the aggregate on site, because it reduces transport.
How do large machines reach sites in the Serranía?
The machine size is chosen for the access road, and transport is planned before dates are fixed.
Can you take down an old farm warehouse with an uralita roof?
Yes. The roof is removed first by a RERA-registered subcontractor, then we demolish the rest.
What EWC/LER code does concrete have?
Concrete from demolition is 17 01 01. Mixed concrete, bricks, tiles and ceramics are 17 01 07.
Can I manage the demolition from abroad?
Yes. We communicate in English, coordinate with your local técnico or representative and can send photo updates at agreed stages.
What if suspected asbestos turns up during the work?
Work in that area stops, you and your técnico are informed, and a RERA-registered company assesses and removes it before work continues.
Can you demolish a warehouse with an uralita roof?
Yes. The asbestos cement roof is removed first by a RERA-registered company working as our subcontractor, and then we demolish the structure.
