In short
We demolish warehouses, farm buildings and concrete structures across the Antequera comarca by machine, sort the materials and remove the rubble to authorised facilities. Plots here are often big enough for on-site crushing to be worth assessing. Inside Antequera's protected historic town a demolition needs a licence and, where applicable, heritage authorisation.
Why industrial demolition around Antequera looks different
The Antequera comarca is one of the nine comarcas of the province of Málaga, and its landscape is mostly flat: the Hoya de Antequera, drained by the upper course of the Guadalhorce. The town itself lies in the centre of Andalusia, where the Málaga–Córdoba and Granada–Seville routes meet. That combination of flat land and good road links explains the warehouses, storage buildings and agricultural premises that end up needing demolition.
We cover the whole comarca, including Alameda, Antequera, Casabermeja, Fuente de Piedra, Humilladero, Mollina and Villanueva de la Concepción. On these plots the main questions are rarely access; they are scale, the amount of concrete and what to do with it.
Large halls and concrete: planning the work on open plots
A long storage hall on an open plot is usually taken down by excavator with shears and a sorting grab, as described on our warehouse and industrial demolition page. Roof sheeting and cladding come off first, the steel frame is cut and stacked, and the concrete elements follow.
Below ground there is often more concrete than the owner expects: loading platforms, ground beams, pits and thick yard slabs laid for heavy vehicles. Our concrete demolition separates the reinforcing steel from the concrete so that both leave the site as clean fractions.
Farm buildings of a certain age may have fibre-cement roofs. Where asbestos is suspected, a RERA-registered company working as our subcontractor removes it first under its own approved work plan; the rest of the demolition is coordinated around that.
Is on-site crushing worth it in the Antequera comarca?
Often it is worth assessing, because the conditions that make crushing viable are common here: plenty of space for a mobile crusher and stockpiles, large volumes of clean concrete and masonry, and sometimes a use for the material on the same plot. Our crushing and recycling page explains how a mobile jaw crusher is set up and what feed it needs.
Whether the crushed aggregate can be used on site, and for what, is decided by your técnico for the new project. If there is no use for it, sorted concrete and masonry go to an authorised facility and you receive the delivery receipts. Factors that change the cost, such as volume, distance and sorting, are explained on the Presupuesto Demolición calculator.
The historic town and the Dolmens: when the rules change
Antequera's historic town is protected as a Bien de Interés Cultural in the Conjunto Histórico category, extended by Decree 5/2013, and the Antequera Dolmens Site was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2016. In a protected historic ensemble a demolition needs a licence and, where applicable, authorisation from Patrimonio; confirm it with the ayuntamiento before planning dates.
Outside protected areas, total or partial demolition in Andalusia generally goes by declaración responsable since 2024. Your técnico prepares the documentation and we work from it. For houses and smaller buildings in and around the town, see Demoliciones Málaga in Antequera.
Keeping part of a farm or industrial complex in use
Not every job on a large rural site is a total demolition. Often one hall is obsolete while the rest of the complex keeps working, and the plot stays in use throughout. In that case the work area is fenced off, vehicle routes for the business and for our lorries are kept apart, and the building to be removed is separated from the ones that stay before any machine goes near the junction.
Shared slabs, drainage and buried services are the usual complications. The owner's técnico marks what must remain in service, we cut along the agreed line and the edge of the surviving slab is left clean. The steps are the same as in a total demolition, just with more care at the boundaries.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work in the villages of the Antequera comarca as well as in the town?
Yes, including Alameda, Casabermeja, Fuente de Piedra, Humilladero, Mollina and Villanueva de la Concepción.
Can you demolish an old agricultural storage building on a farm near Antequera?
Yes. Farm buildings are demolished by machine like any other structure, with materials sorted and the rubble removed by fraction.
Is there room on rural plots to crush the concrete instead of taking it away?
Often there is. Whether it pays off depends on the volume of clean concrete, the space available and whether the aggregate has a use.
What changes if the building is inside Antequera's historic town?
A demolition in a protected historic ensemble needs a licence and, where applicable, heritage authorisation. Confirm the procedure with the ayuntamiento.
What happens to the steel frame of a storage hall?
It is cut, stacked and loaded as a separate metal fraction, apart from the mineral rubble.
Can you remove thick yard slabs laid for lorries?
Yes. Heavy-duty slabs are broken out with excavator-mounted breakers or crushers and the rebar is separated from the concrete.
What if suspected asbestos turns up during the work?
Work in that area stops, you and your técnico are informed, and a RERA-registered company assesses and removes it before work continues.
Can you demolish a warehouse with an uralita roof?
Yes. The asbestos cement roof is removed first by a RERA-registered company working as our subcontractor, and then we demolish the structure.
Do you remove foundations?
Yes, to the depth agreed with you and your técnico according to what the site will be used for.
Which VAT rate applies to demolition work?
Demolition is generally taxed at the standard 21 % VAT; certain renovation works on private homes may qualify for 10 % if the conditions of the VAT law are met. Each quote states the rate.
